Silk is synonymous with luxury. In a mild and warm climate, mulberry trees and sericulture thrive and deal with raw silk production. It is a light and smooth material that is lightweight, stiff yet soft.

Don’t wash silk every time you wear it. Instead, air out, preferably inside away from direct sunlight, between wears.
The best way to wash silk is by hand with special detergent in lukewarm water. Do not soak before or wring after, as this can release some dye.
Machine washes silk at a low spin in lukewarm or cold water using a small amount of detergent. It is best to place silk in a protective mesh bag when machine washing.
To dry, lay the silk garment on a towel and roll it up together to absorb excess moisture. Next, lay flat or hang to air dry.
Iron silk using the lowest temperature possible. If possible, hang silk in the bathroom while taking a hot shower, as steam reduces creases.
